Battlefields

Our battles take place in various lands and places across the Known World. You'll find pictures of terrains inspired by Bretonnia, Dark Lands and the Northern Wastes. As our website grows, you'll see more places coming up, built step by step, following the storyline and adventures of our main hero. Most of these terrains are handcrafted from scratch by our team, using our own materials and various bits and pieces. If you're curious about how we made a specific element, feel free to ask - we're happy to answer your questions. And don't forget to check out our YouTube channel for short films documenting the creation process of new terrains that aren't featured here.

Plain of Bones
Plain of Bones | Terrain | Warhammer

The Plain of Bones is a unique region in the southwestern part of the Dark Lands - a home to Chaos Dwarfs, among others. It's a gloomy place where almost nothing grows. Nature has shaped it in its own way. One of its distinct features is its rocky landscape, rich in active volcanoes spewing countless streams of lava, ash and gases onto the earth's surface. The deep underground mines contain valuable and rare minerals that serve the Dawi-Zharr as building materials to create weapons and machinery in their infernal factories.

Located right next to the Ash Ridge Mountains is the Plain of Bones, where you'll find the dragon graveyard, mentioned even in ancient Nehekharan manuscripts. The area is filled with the bones of long-deceased members of this intelligent race from the Old World that lived here long before the arrival of elves. So, on our gaming table, you'll definitely see a dragon's skull and ribs; one of those majestic creatures that ended its life journey and found its rest here.

Chaos Wastes
Realm of Chaos | Terrain | Warhammer

This land was created ages ago when the Warp Gates connecting areas like the Eastern Steppes, Troll Country, Norsca, and Land of Chill collapsed. Chaos oozes from every pore of this place due to its proximity to the Realm of the Dark Gods. Corruption is everywhere, from the meager vegetation to the mutations affecting the people and animals living here. The area is home to various tribes, the Druchii, and monsters like Trolls, Manticores, and Cockatrices. It's a vast, mostly empty landscape filled with frigid and often frozen plains or barren meadows.

We have two tables inspired by this land. One represents a transformed terrain marked by the influences of the Chaos Gods. It features a mutated and ruined tower that stands tall amidst rocks and hills. A lone forest of twisted spruce trees serves as a sign that you're approaching the unfriendly northern territories inhabited by worshippers of the Ruinous Powers.

The second includes elements of a ruined Chaos temple with Khorne's symbols all over it. It's a place for duels, where the goal is to find the mightiest and most skilled warrior worthy of Khorne's blessing. There are mutated and twisted rocks surrounding the temple. The whole thing is kept in a dark style with a red glow, which is the favorite color of the Lord of Skulls.

Bretonnia
Kingdom Of Bretonnia | Terrain | Warhammer

We have 3 gaming tables inspired by Bretonnian dukedoms. The first one is supposed to refer to Lyonesse. Our terrains for this table include two lion statues, marking the boundary between Lyonesse and Mousillon. You'll also find forests and a small lake, typical for this dukedom.

In the dukedom of Couronne, they say that a knight without a horse is like a noble without a peasant - they just can't exist without each other. This is where the best breeds of warhorses, renowned across the entire Old World, come from. Some jokingly claim that the folks here are obsessed with horses, to the point that even a regular person has had the honor of riding one at least once in their life. The expansive plains are covered in lush grass, making them perfect for this purpose. Besides the plains, the dukedoms's landscape includes rocky hills and the valleys of the Pale Sisters, from which the Sannez River flows. Our terrains feature modular sections of the river, complete with a bridge and ford, which you can freely arrange on the table to create a longer or shorter river. There are also the aforementioned hills and forest

Our third gaming table, with its terrain, is designed to evoke the essence of the dukedom of Bastonne. Here, you'll find the Sanctuary of the Lady of the Lake, a place of pilgrimage for devout followers of the Divine Damsel, who undertake this journey at least once in their lifetime. It is renowned across Bretonnia for the care provided by the local villagers who inhabit these lands. Yet, despite this humble care, the chapel's appearance is anything but modest. Towering stone walls, adorned with vibrant stained glass, leave a lasting impression. Within, one can behold silver and golden statues paying homage to the Lady of the Lake. Additionally, looming nearby is a defensive tower, its purpose to sound the alarm of impending danger with a resonant toll from the bell adorning its roof. Moreover, a pedestal fashioned in the shape of a fleur-de-lys stands nearby, serving as a platform for announcements and addresses when the duke's envoys pay a visit to the chapel.

Voiceless Chasm
Voiceless Chasm | Terrain | Warhammer

If you're heading to Tilea through Novalone Pass, make sure your caravan is accompanied by a guide familiar with the area. It's easy to get lost here and wander into places like the Voiceless Chasm. This vast chasm, stretching for hundreds of kilometers, conceals within its depths fungal underground forests and stalactites. The unusual vegetation is the result of the humid climate within the corridors and chambers. Darkness envelops the entire place. The only source of light comes from fluorescent mushrooms, whose pollen can lead to hallucinations.

Our models include mushrooms created by us, designed to resemble a forest. Additionally, to emphasize the unique cave-like nature of the place, we've crafted several stalactites resembling rocks and tall columns. All elements have been painted in green and purple, with accents of black and red tones for the mushroom caps.
